Winner Announced of the Euro-Med Dialogue Award 2011

Development No Border (Tanmeya Bela Hedoud) was elected as the Winner of the Sixth Edition of the Anna Lindh Foundation Regional Prize Euro-Med Award for Dialogue between Cultures 2011.

For the first time, an Egyptian NGO was announced as the winners of the Euro-Med Award for Dialogue, for their work on the promotion of citizenship and active participation among young people. Based in Cairo, Development No Border (DNB) is a youth NGO working against xenophobia, racism and discrimination, and for the promotion of citizenship and youth empowerment. The main scope of DNB’s work focuses on social and cultural activities, and volunteerism, through non-formal education projects, exchange schemes and trainings. The Euro-Med Dialogue Award is unique in that it is bestowed by the Anna Lindh National Civil Socisty Networks; Around 300 Network member organizations participated in the final election round.
